College Credit Info Night @ PDC
According to an online article from New America, research suggests that earning college credit in high school has far-reaching positive effects on student success in both high school and college. Studies show that students who successfully earn college credits during high school are more likely to enroll, succeed academically, and complete their degrees within four to six years.
Richardson ISD currently offers three different opportunities for students in our high schools to earn college credits through Advanced Placement or AP courses, Dallas County Community College District dual credit courses, and The University of Texas OnRamps dual enrollment courses.
All parents and students are encouraged to attend this informational meeting on Tuesday, February 20, beginning at 6:30 pm, in the Professional Development Center (PDC) Auditorium located in building A at 701 W. Belt Line Road.
