HEAD START AWARD

LHJH PTA has earned the Head Start Award by recruiting 75% of last year's total membership!  In order to achieve the Fall Membership Increase Award, we need to add 61 more members by October 31. If you haven't joined yet, please click the Register Now button above to begin.


LHJH BBQ DINNER & PEP RALLY

Monday, October 23, 6-8 p.m. at LHJH

Deadline for purchasing tickets for the BBQ Dinner is Wednesday, October 18th

Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased on the PTA website here.  You can also sponsor a staff member's dinner.

LHJH CHILI COOK-OFF - SAVE THE DATE!

The second annual LHJH Chili Cook-Off will be held January 27, 2018. You can buy tickets here or at the BBQ and Pep Rally on October 23.

LHJH ORCHESTRA CONCERT AND SPIRIT NIGHT

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy our 7th and 8th graders’ talents as they play pieces they have been working on this school year!  The concert is Thursday, Oct. 26th at LHJH at 6 pm.  Please bring cash or check if you would like to support the Lake Highlands Area Orchestra Club. 

That same day we're having a fundraiser at Raising Cane’s at 5030 Greenville Ave. on from 5 – 10 pm.  Mention Lake Highlands Orchestra to your cashier and orchestra will receive a portion of the sales!  The flyer is here.


 OCTOBER IS DYSLEXIA AWARENESS MONTH

SAGE is excited to support RISD's Dyslexia Department in raising awareness!

Help SAGE deliver treats to RISD's Dyslexia Department!  Did you know that some of our special educators aren't regularly included in PTA teacher appreciation?  A number of RISD specialists visit multiple campuses, including some of those who provide Special Student Services, Dyslexia services, and Gifted services.  Please sign up here to deliver treats to our Dyslexia educators!

TRUNK OR TREAT 2017

In an effort to provide a safe place for kids to celebrate Halloween, Lake Highlands Public Improvement District (LHPID) and Dallas City Council Member Adam McGough are hosting a Trunk or Treat event.
